De National Democratic Congress (NDC) be social democratic political party insyd Ghana, wey dem found am by Jerry Rawlings, na he be Head of State for Ghana from 1981 to 1993 den de President of Ghana from 1993 to 2001.^[1][2] Following de formation of de Provisional National Defence Council (PNDC), wey dem rule Ghana following de military coup d'état on 31 December 1981, na pressure dey come from de international community say dem for restore democracy. On 9 December 2012, de Electoral Commission of Ghana declare de NDC candidate John Dramani Mahama to be president-elect after a hotly contested race as dem win 50.7% of de votes cast.^[5]
